{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-205.6489","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 205.6489","heading":"Administration -- Outreach -- Data collection.","body":"(1) The Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program shall be administered by the\nCabinet for Health and Family Services in terms of conducting eligibility\ndetermination and providing oversight over enrollment and claims payment.\n(2) The program shall include a system of outreach and referral for children who may\nbe eligible for the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program. The program\nshall work with the Department for Medicaid Services, the Department for\nCommunity Based Services, schools, pediatricians, public health departments, and\nother entities interested in the health of children in developing the system of\noutreach and referral.\n(3) The cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13A to establish a structure fo r quality assurance and utilization review\nunder KRS 205.6481 to 205.6495 and KRS 304.17A-340.\n(4) The Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program shall collect, analyze, and\npublicly disseminate comprehensive data on the number of children enrolled in th e\nprogram, services received through the program, and the effect on health outcomes\nof children served by the program including the special health needs of minority\nchildren. The information collected by the program shall be subject to KRS\n216.2927(1).
