{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-205.900","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 205.900","heading":"Definitions for KRS 205.905 to 205.920.","body":"As used in KRS 205.905 to 205.920:\n(1) \"Cabinet\" means the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.\n(2) \"Evaluation team\" means at least three (3) individuals employed as such by a\nqualified agency or organization.\n(3) \"Personal care assistance services\" means services which are required by an adult\nwith a severe physical disability to achieve greater physical independence and\nwhich include, but are not limited to:\n(a) Routine bodily functions, such as bowel or bladder care;\n(b) Dressing;\n(c) Housecleaning and laundry;\n(d) Preparation and consumption of food;\n(e) Moving in and out of bed;\n(f) Routine bathing;\n(g) Ambulation; and\n(h) Any other similar activity of daily living.\n(4) \"Qualified agency or organization\" means an agency or organization whose purpose\nis to provide services to severely physically disabled adults to enable them to live as\nindependently as possible and a majority of whose governing board are consumers\nof these services.
