{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-209.550","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 209.550","heading":"Definitions for KRS 209.550 to 209.554.","body":"As used in KRS 209.550 to 209.554, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Commissioner\" means the commissioner of the department;\n(2) \"Department\" means the Department for Public Health;\n(3) \"Documentation\" means written evidence from an individual's health care provider\nthat indicates the date and place the individual received the influenza vaccine or the\npneumococcal vaccine;\n(4) \"Employee\" means an individual who is employed, directly or by contract, with\nanother entity, on a part-time or full-time basis;\n(5) \"Medically contraindicated\" describes a situation in which the influenza or\npneumococcal vaccine should not be administered to an individual because of a\ncondition that the individual has that will be detrimental to the individual's health if\nthe individual receives the vaccine; and\n(6) \"Long-term care facility\" has the same meaning as in KRS 216.510, except that for\npurposes of KRS 209.550 to 209.554, \"long -term care facility\" does not include\nfamily-care homes or personal-care homes.","path":["KRS Chapter 209"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8206","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:10Z","sha256":"ca4c2c25b71edaa6978142d1489a26cfb8d35aede9cdd10bee62b7dfba53be3a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-209.500","next":"us-ky/krs-209.552"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
