Each county clerk shall remit to the\nfund, by the tenth of the month, ten dollars ($10) collected during the previous\nmonth from the issuance or amending of marriage licenses. The fund shall be\nadministered by the Depart ment of Revenue. The Cabinet for Health and Family\nServices shall use the funds for the purpose of providing protective shelter services\nfor domestic violence victims.\n(2) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall designate one (1) nonprofit\ncorporation in each area development district to serve as the primary service\nprovider and regional planning authority for domestic violence shelter, crisis, and\nadvocacy services in the district in which the designated provider is located.","path":["KRS Chapter 209A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56485","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:10Z","sha256":"eeff0f9f888881b368a8ea6b9a2528ff9512eabc1590c92589bcaebbc7475851","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-209a.040","next":"us-ky/krs-209a.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
