{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-209a.130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 209A.130","heading":"Educational materials to be provided suspected victim of domestic","body":"violence and abuse or dating violence and abuse -- Availability of online\nmaterials.\n(1) If a professional has reasonable cause to believe that a victim with whom  he or\nshe has had a professional interaction has experienced domestic violence and\nabuse or dating violence and abuse, the professional shall provide the victim\nwith educational materials related to domestic violence and abuse or dating\nviolence and abuse including information about how he or she may  access\nregional domestic violence programs under KRS  209A.045 or rape crisis\ncenters under KRS  211.600 and information about how to access protective\norders.\n(2) A nonprofit corporation designated by the cabinet pursuant to KRS  209A.045\nas  a primary service provider for domestic violence shelter, crisis, and\nadvocacy services in the district in which the provider is located shall make the\neducational materials required under this section available on its Web  site or in\nprint form for professionals to provide to possible victims of domestic violence\nand abuse or dating violence and abuse.","path":["KRS Chapter 209A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47059","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:10Z","sha256":"ebaa79c3f361d647fce69865f252df471f67596586595c5ca1f9297b705ab259","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-209a.122","next":"us-ky/krs-21.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
