{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.054","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.054","heading":"Kentucky mental health first aid training fund.","body":"(1) The Kentucky mental health first aid training fund is hereby created as a separate\ntrust and agency fund. The fund shall be administered by the Cabinet for Health and\nFamily Services for the purpose outlined in KRS 210.053.\n(2) The fund may receive amounts  from state or federal appropriations, grants,\ncontributions, or other moneys made available for the purposes of the fund. All\ngrants, contributions, or moneys received shall be deposited in the State Treasury in\na trust and agency fund account to the cred it of the Kentucky mental health first aid\ntraining fund. Moneys in the fund shall be used to support the Mental Health First\nAid Training Program or similar program established under KRS 210.053 and\nsuicide prevention programs in Kentucky.\n(3) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, fund amounts not expended at the close of a fiscal\nyear shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next fiscal year.\n(4) Any interest earned on moneys in the fund shall become a part of the trust fund and\nshall not lapse.\n(5) Moneys in the fund are appropriated for the purposes set forth in this section and\nshall not be appropriated or transferred by the General Assembly for any other\npurposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 210"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50276","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:10Z","sha256":"9545b33dc11cce357dce6755f127dd0f4c083eade069c0f1979b34b5dacee352","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-210.053","next":"us-ky/krs-210.055"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
