{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.380","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.380","heading":"Community board programs for mental health or individuals with an","body":"intellectual disability -- Establishment -- Membership.\nEvery combination of cities and counties establishing a regional community services\nprogram for mental health or individuals wi th an intellectual disability shall, before it\ncomes within the provisions of KRS 210.370 to 210.460, establish a community board for\nmental health or individuals with an intellectual disability consisting of at least nine (9)\nmembers. When a nonprofit cor poration is the administrator of such a program not\nestablished by a combination of either cities or counties, such corporation shall select a\ncommunity board for mental health or individuals with an intellectual disability which\nshall be representative of the groups herein enumerated, but the number of members need\nnot be nine (9). When any combination of cities and counties establishes a regional\ncommunity services program for mental health or individuals with an intellectual\ndisability, the chief executive officer of each participating city or county shall appoint two\n(2) members to a selecting committee which shall select the members of the board.\nMembership of the community boards for mental health or individuals with an\nintellectual disability shall be  representative of the elected chief executives of county\ngovernments, local health departments, medical societies, county welfare boards, hospital\nboards, lay associations concerned with mental health and intellectual disabilities as well\nas labor, business and civic groups, and the general public.","path":["KRS Chapter 210"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40805","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:11Z","sha256":"178f967bb3f79bcc8257ff600f01d01d57feb1a6c8ba774825582acac2413474","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-210.370","next":"us-ky/krs-210.390"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
