{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.410","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.410","heading":"State aid for regional mental health and intellectual disability programs.","body":"(1) The secretary of the cabinet is hereby authorized to make state grants and other\nfund allocations from the cabinet to assist any regional service area established in\nKRS 210.370, any combination of cities and counties, or nonprofit corporations in\nthe establishment and operation of regional community mental health and\nintellectual disability programs which may provide primary care services and shall\nprovide at least the following services:\n(a) Inpatient services;\n(b) Outpatient services;\n(c) Partial hospitalization or psychosocial rehabilitation services;\n(d) Emergency services;\n(e) Consultation and education services; and\n(f) Services for individuals with an intellectual disability.\n(2) The services required in subsection (1)(a), (b), (c), (d), and (e) of this section, in\naddition to primary care services, if provided, shall be available to the mentally ill,\ndrug abusers and alcohol abusers, and all age groups includ ing children and the\nelderly. The services required in subsection (1)(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f), in\naddition to primary care services, if provided, shall be available to individuals with\nan intellectual disability. The services required in subsection  (1)(b) of this section\nshall be available to any child age sixteen (16) or older upon request of such child\nwithout the consent of a parent or legal guardian, if the matter for which the\nservices are sought involves alleged physical or sexual abuse by a p arent or\nguardian whose consent would otherwise be required.","path":["KRS Chapter 210"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54184","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:11Z","sha256":"0e86e1f5224a31a1af3ddffafd9d65e7ceaa2b67ab835ce5193bf19de6ac3880","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-210.405","next":"us-ky/krs-210.420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
