{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.470","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.470","heading":"Taxing district for mental health or individuals with an intellectual","body":"disability -- Governing board.\n(1) It is the intent of this section to create a taxing district for mental health or\nindividuals with an intellectual disability by operation of law in each county coming\nunder the provisions of KRS 210.370 to 210.460, in order to implement KRS\n210.460.\n(2) In all counties which have participated in the establishment of a regional\ncommunity services program for mental health or individuals with an in tellectual\ndisability under KRS 210.380, a taxing district for mental health or individuals with\nan intellectual disability is hereby declared to be created.\n(3) The members of the community board for mental health or individuals with an\nintellectual disab ility recognized by the secretary for health and family services\npursuant to KRS 210.380 shall, by virtue of their office, constitute and be the\ngoverning board of the taxing district for mental health or individuals with an\nintellectual disability and sha ll perform the duties attendant thereto in addition to\ntheir duties as members of the community board for mental health or individuals\nwith an intellectual disability.
