{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.577","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.577","heading":"Commission's meetings, purposes, and goals -- Report.","body":"(1) The commission created in KRS 210.575 shall meet at least quarterly or upon the\ncall of the chair, the request of four (4) or more members, or the request of the\nGovernor.\n(2) The commission shall serve in an advisory capacity to accomplish the following:\n(a) Advise the Governor and the General Assembly concerning the needs of\npersons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities;\n(b) Develop a statewide strategy to increase the quality and availability of\ncommunity-based services and supports for p ersons with intellectual or other\ndevelopmental disabilities; and\n(c) Review quality assurance and consumer satisfaction data annually and submit\nrecommendations that address areas of need to the Cabinet for Health and\nFamily Services.\n(3) The commission shall submit an annual report describing its work over the previous\nyear, including recommendations submitted pursuant to subsection (2)(c) of this\nsection, no later than December 1 to the Governor and the Legislative Research\nCommission.","path":["KRS Chapter 210"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50022","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:11Z","sha256":"f6d5483062a434904372418315d45996d997dadb2a99cb336129e4ad857b3f61","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-210.575","next":"us-ky/krs-210.580"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
