{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-210.790","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 210.790","heading":"Eligibility for services -- Design -- Payment.","body":"(1) Only a person with a disability who is a resident of Kentucky or whose family or\nguardian is a resident of Kentucky is eligible to apply for a Hart -Supported Living\nProgram grant. The person may be living with a family member, independently, or\nbe in a con gregate setting and be eligible to apply for a grant. If funded, the\napplicant must maintain Kentucky residency as a condition of receiving grant funds\nor for the duration of the grant.\n(2) Any eligible person with a disability who wants to apply for a Har t-Supported\nLiving Program grant may design and request a set of services in the amount, kind,\nfrequency, and duration which is dependent upon the person's individual needs, and\nis consistent with the definition of a Hart -Supported Living Program grant und er\nKRS 210.770.\n(3) Payments for Hart -Supported Living Program grants may be made directly to the\nperson with a disability to enable the person to purchase a service, to the guardian\nof the person with a disability, to a fiscal representative, to a service  provider\nagency, or to any combination of these parties.\n(4) A license shall not be required for any supported living housing arrangement\nprovided on a contractual basis.","path":["KRS Chapter 210"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8322","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:11Z","sha256":"ce1c7acfc7ef812bb207cacc9d8aa463baf11befa9d70ef21afbfffe373f5360","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-210.785","next":"us-ky/krs-210.795"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
