{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.130","heading":"Definitions for KRS 211.130 to 211.160.","body":"As used in KRS 211.130 to 211.160, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Cabinet\" shall mean the Cabinet for Health and Family Services;\n(2) \"Secretary\" shall mean the secretary for health and family services;\n(3) \"An individual with a severe physica l disability\" shall mean a person who has a\nsevere physical disability as a result of cerebral palsy, poliomyelitis, muscular\ndystrophy, or spina bifida;\n(4) \"Educable person\" shall mean an individual with a severe physical disability, as\ndefined above, wh o is determined by the cabinet to be capable of receiving and\nbenefiting from the services and facilities provided by KRS 211.130 to 211.160;\n(5) \"Funds\" shall mean all moneys received by the cabinet from all persons,\ncorporations, associations, organizations, and state or federal government agencies,\nspecifically designated to be used for furnishing facilities and services for educable\npersons; provided, however, that no moneys appropriated to the cabinet by the\nGeneral Assembly of this Commonwealth shall be considered to have been\nappropriated for establishing, providing, or maintaining services or facilities for\neducable persons, unless the act appropriating such moneys expressly so provides.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8350","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:12Z","sha256":"23816d434638bd98b30210ed07b19af91dddb39a1fd62551226ac51d0f4b5c6b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.125","next":"us-ky/krs-211.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
