{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.1752","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.1752","heading":"Local Health Department Employment Personnel Council.","body":"(1) The Local Health Department Employment Personnel Council is hereby created.\nThe council shall be composed of five (5) members appointed by the secretary for\nhealth and family services.\n(2) Members of the council shall serve for a term of three (3) years or  until successors\nare appointed, except that for members of the initially appointed council, two (2)\nmembers shall be appointed for one (1) year, two (2) members shall be appointed\nfor two (2) years, and one (1) member shall be appointed for three (3) year s. A\nmember appointed to fill a vacancy occurring prior to the expiration of the term\nshall be appointed for the remainder of the term.\n(3) The council shall elect a chairperson from its membership. Regular meetings of the\ncouncil shall be held at least se miannually. Special meetings of the council may be\nheld upon call of the chairperson or the department.\n(4) The council shall be attached to the department for administrative purposes.\n(5) The council shall:\n(a) Advise the cabinet on administration of the local health department personnel\nprogram pursuant to KRS Chapter 212;\n(b) Make an annual report to the department and agency; and\n(c) Consider and act upon matters that may be referred to the council by the\ndepartment.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50023","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:12Z","sha256":"88ce75ea5bb120f53e0249304a1c1e74f17fd444bcfdd657a64747d86a976d2c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.1751","next":"us-ky/krs-211.1755"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
