{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.200","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.200","heading":"Assignment of cabinet personnel to a county in case of public health","body":"emergency or when county lacks adequate local health department.\nWhenever, in the opinion of the secretary for health and family services, a public health\nemergency exists in any cou nty, or whenever any county fails to establish, maintain, and\noperate a local health department therein meeting the standards prescribed by the cabinet,\nthe cabinet may assign to said county such of its own personnel as may be designated by\nthe secretary for health and family services. Such personnel so assigned shall have the full\npower and authority of local health department employees in addition to their power and\nauthority as representatives of the cabinet.
