The Department for Public Health m ay\nenter into a contractual arrangement, such as a Memorandum of Agreement, with\nthe Department of Education to share the costs.\n(2) The Department for Public Health shall provide access, information, assistance, and\nsupport to the education school nurse c onsultant necessary to assist and support the\nDepartment of Education to fulfill the duties specified in KRS 156.501.\n(3) It is the intent of the General Assembly that there be no duplication of services or\nduties between the Department of Education and th e Department for Public Health\nrelating to school health services and that the position created in KRS 156.501(2)\nserve as a technical advisor and liaison among state agencies, local school districts,\nand local health departments.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8375","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:12Z","sha256":"e6df0a0fc5970318942a2f98a9aea0d341b1a00761bbf951bf5473bfdf6f86fa","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.285","next":"us-ky/krs-211.290"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
