{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.375","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.375","heading":"On-site sewage disposal manuals -- Fees -- Training of personnel.","body":"(1) The cabinet shall solicit and collect technical information relating to improved\nmethods for construction, use, and rehabilitation of septic tanks and drain fields and\nuse of alternative on-site sewage disposal systems and technologies.\n(2) The cabinet sh all compile such information in manual form so as to identify\ncommon on-site sewage disposal problems and a range of alternative solutions to\nsuch problems.  Such manuals shall be made available upon request to local boards\nof health, local departments of health, other agencies, and interested persons.\n(3) The cabinet shall further update the information contained in the manual on an\nannual basis or as necessary and disseminate the updated information to such local\nboards of health, local departments of health, other agencies, and interested persons.\n(4) The cabinet shall develop a nontechnical manual for use by the homeowner to be\ndisseminated upon request to interested agencies and persons containing\ninformation on the proper operation, use and maintenan ce of septic tanks and drain\nfields and other on-site sewage disposal systems.\n(5) The cabinet may establish by regulation a fee or schedule of fees for on -site sewage\ndisposal manuals based on the cost of publication and dissemination of such\nmanuals.\n(6) The cabinet shall provide training and continuing education programs to field\npersonnel relating to on-site sewage disposal.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8391","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:12Z","sha256":"ee31b5f5d93d88202cf4a1df22981f68699caf6fc1ca7351fd8dcf26f64b870e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.370","next":"us-ky/krs-211.380"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
