{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.420","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.420","heading":"Rural Kentucky dental scholarship fund -- Granting scholarships.","body":"(1) There is hereby established within the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, a\nrural Kentucky dental scholarship fund.\n(2) There shall be available each fiscal year to applicants selected by the board with the\napproval of the Dental Health Program of the  Cabinet for Health and Family\nServices, no less than ten (10) scholarships for the study of dentistry leading to the\nattainment of the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, or some equivalent degree.\n(3) The amount of each scholarship shall be a reasonable sum determined by the board,\nbut shall not be less than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) per annum.\n(4) In granting scholarships the board shall make a careful and full investigation of the\nability, character, and qualifications of each applicant , and may personally examine\neach applicant.
