{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.600","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.600","heading":"Designation of regional rape crisis centers -- Provision of services.","body":"(1) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall designate one (1) nonprofit\ncorporation in each area development district to serve as the regional rape crisis\ncenter. The designated agency shall serve as the regional planning authority for\ncrisis and advocacy services for victims of sexual assault in the district in which the\ncenter is located.\n(2) The rape crisis center shall retain the designation unless it has been rescinded by the\ncabinet based on an annual review of the center's performance or the ann ual plan\nand budget submitted by the center to the cabinet for funding for the next fiscal\nyear.\n(3) A rape crisis center designated by the cabinet shall provide services that include, but\nare not limited to:\n(a) Crisis counseling;\n(b) Mental health and related support services;\n(c) Advocacy;\n(d) Consultation;\n(e) Public education; and\n(f) The provision of training programs for professionals.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8440","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:13Z","sha256":"b88cc88db7a8563c692ce754a9d4e98fea2dd5dc54c87a21b4afc031b1d66813","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.597","next":"us-ky/krs-211.602"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
