{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.604","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.604","heading":"Rape crisis center board -- Membership and duties.","body":"(1) A rape crisis center designated by the cabinet shall establish a board consisting of at\nleast fifteen (15) members. At least one (1) member shall represent each county\nlocated in the area development district served by the center.\n(2) Each rape crisis center shall:\n(a) Act as the administering authority for the regional rape crisis center;\n(b) Assess the availability and quality of services to victims of sexual assault\nwithin the district;\n(c) Facilitate working relationships with other criminal justice, mental health, and\nother agencies that will improve the delivery of services to victims of sexual\nassault;\n(d) Submit to the cabinet annually a plan and budget for services to be provided in\nthe next fiscal year;\n(e) Recruit and promote local financial suppo rt for the center from private and\npublic sources; and\n(f) Oversee and be responsible for the management of the rape crisis center in\naccordance with the plan and budget adopted by the board and administrative\nregulations promulgated by the cabinet in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8442","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:13Z","sha256":"6323eeaa14899ae805b09f3eff02fa5118d60f0f1f9cbfa313a5aaef27f12fc2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.603","next":"us-ky/krs-211.608"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
