{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.9069","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.9069","heading":"Equivalent certificate and equivalent accreditation -- Conditions of","body":"issuance.\n(1) Any person who has been issued a certificate in another state which has\ncertification, educational, and experience requirements substantially equal to or\ngreater than those of this state, pursuant to KRS 211.9063, and which grants equal\ncertification privileges to persons certified in this state, may be issued an equivalent\ncertificate in this state upon terms and conditions determined by the department.\n(2) Any training provider which has been issued a certificate of accreditation in another\nstate which has certification, educational, and experience requirements substantially\nequal to or greater than those of this state, pursuant to KRS 211.9065, and which\ngrants equal accreditation privileges to training providers accredited in this state,\nmay be issued an equivalent accreditation in this state upon terms and conditions\ndetermined by the department.\n(3) The department may consult with other states in order to facilitate  reciprocity of\ncertification and accreditation of lead -hazard detection and abatement services\namong the states.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8523","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:14Z","sha256":"ab212b61583b58b85a17895c98c345fe47d460695b331d686cc817703612fdae","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.9067","next":"us-ky/krs-211.9071"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
