{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-211.995","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 211.995","heading":"Penalties for violation of KRS 211.972 to 211.982 -- Civil penalty -- License","body":"revocation.\n(1) Any person who shall violate or refuse to comply with any of the provisions of KRS\n211.972 to 211.982 or regulations promulgated pursuant thereto shall be gu ilty of a\nmisdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor\nmore than five hundred dollars ($500) and when such violation is of a continuing\nnature, each day upon which a violation occurs shall be deemed a separate offense.\n(2) In addition to any criminal penalty imposed under this section, any person who\nviolates or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of KRS 211.972 to 211.982\nshall be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed the sum of five thousand dollars\n($5,000).\n(3) The secretary may, at his or her discretion, revoke any license issued pursuant to\nKRS 211.972 to 211.982 upon confirmation that a licensee has committed a third or\nsubsequent violation of those sections.","path":["KRS Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8567","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:15Z","sha256":"8f3b34276485283edb7fe9b0b5eb51a70971bd2016c96b87574a17fe58d1ca08","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-211.994","next":"us-ky/krs-212.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
