{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-212.040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 212.040","heading":"Establishment for one county by fiscal court -- Appropriation.","body":"The fiscal court of any county may by resolution at a regular session declare that the\ncounty shall be a district for the creation, establishment and maintenance of a county\nhealth department. Upon the resolution being passed, the fiscal court shall at onc e, out of\nthe funds of the county, appropriate a sufficient amount for the creation, establishment\nand maintenance of the county health department. If there are not sufficient funds on hand\nfor such appropriation at the time the resolution is adopted, the fiscal court shall, at the\nnext succeeding county levy, make a levy sufficient to produce the necessary amount of\ntax for the creation, establishment and maintenance of the county health department. The\nfiscal court shall annually thereafter make a levy su fficient to pay the annual expense of\nmaintenance of the county health department.
