{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-214.310","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 214.310","heading":"Enforcement of mattress law.","body":"(1) Any police officer or member of any municipal board of health, or other city\nofficial, who has reason to believe that the provisions of KRS 214.280 to 214.300\nhave been or are being violated, shall give notice to the Cabinet for Health and\nFamily Services.\n(2) Any individual who has reason to believe that the provisions of KRS 214.280 to\n214.300 have been or are being violated may present the relevant facts to the board\nof health or any of its deputies. It shall then be the duty of the board of health to\nmake an investigation of the facts, and if the board is of the opinion that there is or\nhas been a violation it shall prosecute the person guilty thereof.\n(3) Any individual may institute proceedings to enforce KRS 214.280 to 214.300 and to\npunish violations of their provisions.","path":["KRS Chapter 214"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=8811","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:18Z","sha256":"e7782aee76c6684c8bb3a28337cdc8813453ade9f6d6b059ddd68e69c197e91e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-214.300","next":"us-ky/krs-214.320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
