{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-214.567","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 214.567","heading":"Educational resources regarding congenital cytomegalovirus.","body":"(1) The department shall make available to the public on its website educational\nresources regarding the incidence of congenital cytomegalovirus, including\ninformation about:\n(a) The transmission of congenital cytomegalovirus before and during pregnancy;\n(b) Birth defects caused by congenital cytomegalovirus;\n(c) Methods of diagnosing congenital cytomegalovirus;\n(d) Available preventive measures; and\n(e) Resources available to the  family of an infant born with congenital\ncytomegalovirus.\n(2) The department may solicit and accept the assistance of relevant medical\nassociations or community resources to develop, promote, and distribute the public\neducational resources.\n(3) A health f acility or health care provider providing obstetric or prenatal services\nshall provide pregnant women or women who may become pregnant with the\ninformation listed in subsection (1) of this section or provide the patients with a link\nto the website described in subsection (1) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 214"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56428","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:18Z","sha256":"d0adcb53752661ba862384c194357e02b47fa56b10621e2ee264f4eaa59d79ca","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-214.565","next":"us-ky/krs-214.569"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
