{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216.320","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216.320","heading":"Notification of secretary -- Effect of notification.","body":"Upon the completion of all procedures necessary for the creation of a taxing district as\nprovided in KRS 65.182, the fiscal court shall notify the secretary and the secretary shall\nestablish the district within the medical service area in which that county  is located, and\nshall certify his act to the county judge/executive and county clerk of each county, which\nis a part of the district, the state local finance officer and to the Secretary of State. The\ndistrict shall then be a taxing district within the me aning of Section 157 of the Kentucky\nConstitution for the carrying out of the purposes for which the district was created, and\nfor executing the powers with which it is vested. The county submitting the resolution to\nthe secretary shall be a participating county in the district.
