{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216.573","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216.573","heading":"Injunction to terminate operation of facility.","body":"(1) The cabinet may institute injunctive proceedings in Circuit Court to enforce the\nprovisions of KRS 216.537 to 216.590 or to terminate the operation of a long -term\ncare facility where any of the following exists:\n(a) Failure of the licensee to take appropri ate action to correct a Type A or B\nviolation; or\n(b) Failure of the licensee to abide by any final order of the cabinet once it has\nbecome effective and binding.\n(2) Such injunctive relief may include temporary and permanent injunction.\n(3) The cabinet ma y institute injunctive proceedings to enforce KRS 194A.700 to\n194A.729 only under subsection (1)(b) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 216"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52535","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:21Z","sha256":"0f944f0b256e8ace7010d2e034724343f134c2e065008da0ed6ef666243d1ad8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216.570","next":"us-ky/krs-216.575"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
