{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216a.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216A.080","heading":"Requirements for issuance of license.","body":"(1) No  person shall be eligible to practice long-term care administration in this\nstate unless:\n(a) He  or she shall make written application to the board on such forms as\nare provided therefor;\n(b) He  or she is a citizen of the United States or has declared his or her\nintent to become a citizen of the United States;\n(c) He  or she provides proof satisfactory to the board that he or she is of\ngood moral character and is otherwise suitable, if in accordance with KRS\nChapter 335B;\n(d) He  or she has passed an examination approved by the board by\npromulgation of an administrative regulation; and\n(e) He  or she meets such other requirements as may be established by the\nboard by promulgation of an administrative regulation, so long as the\nrequirements are uniform and are applied to all other applicants for a\nlicense.\n(2) When  an applicant has met the requirements as provided herein, the board\nshall issue the applicant a license to practice long-term care administration in\nthis state.","path":["KRS Chapter 216A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46796","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:22Z","sha256":"1e33170393cbd55b358913797146c4c12b0836b130fb5564eb8a208b380f132e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216a.070","next":"us-ky/krs-216a.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
