{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216a.130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216A.130","heading":"Reciprocity.","body":"(1) The board, in its discretion, and otherwise subject to the provisions of this chapter\nand the administrative regulations of the board promulgated thereunder prescribing\nthe qualifications for a long-term care administrator license, may issue a license to a\nlong-term care administrator possessing a license issued by the proper authorities of\nany other state, upon payment of a fee set by the board, and upon submission of\nevidence satisfactory to the board:\n(a) That the other state maintained a system and sta ndard of qualifications and\nexaminations for a long -term care administrator license which were\nsubstantially equivalent to those required in this state at the time the other\nlicense was issued by the other state; and\n(b) That the license was issued by the other state at least two (2) years prior to\napplication for endorsement.\n(2) The board, in its discretion, may refuse to issue a license to a long -term care\nadministrator possessing a license issued by the proper authorities of any other state,\nif the appl icant for endorsement has been disciplined by the other state's board in\nthe past five (5) years.","path":["KRS Chapter 216A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40592","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:23Z","sha256":"36e254e59fc694874b76382695a8bbaf3dd1c68d60e26ba01ffbeb04b63bc76c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216a.120","next":"us-ky/krs-216a.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
