{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216b.0431","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216B.0431","heading":"Licensing and procedures for abortion facilities -- Administrative","body":"regulations.\n(1) The cabinet shall, no later than September 1, 1998, and subject to the provisions of\nKRS Chapter 13A, promulgate administrative regulations providing licensure\nstandards and procedures for abortion facilities. The cabinet shall begin enforcing\nthe administrative regulations on March 1, 1999.\n(2) Any person operating an abortion facility for which a license is required under this\nchapter may apply for the license prior to March 1, 1999.\n(3) Each abortion facility shall report monthly to the cabinet the information required\nby the cabinet by administrative regulation for each abortion performed in the\nfacility.\n(4) Licensed acute-care hospitals shall be exempt from the p rovisions of this section,\nexcept for any reporting requirements issued by the cabinet.","path":["KRS Chapter 216B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=9192","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:23Z","sha256":"4d731628b3d4f1e4e601469e4dcf5b6a85a82e98d572b8431e8afd9c4ce35d41","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216b.0425","next":"us-ky/krs-216b.0435"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
