{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216b.195","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216B.195","heading":"Residential hospice facilities -- Automated pharmacy system.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Automated pharmacy system\" means a mechanical system that delivers\nprescribed over -the-counter and legend drugs, and controlled substances\nreceived from a pharmacy licensed in Kentucky that maintains transaction\ninformation; and\n(b) \"Residential hospice facility\" means a facility licensed under KRS Chapter\n216B that provides residential skilled nursing care, pain management, and\ntreatment for acute and chronic conditions for terminally ill patients.\n(2) A residential hospice fa cility shall be deemed in compliance with licensure\nrequirements relating to pharmaceutical services if the facility obtains pharmacy\nservices through an automated pharmacy system in accordance with KRS 315.295\nand related administrative regulations promul gated by the Kentucky Board of\nPharmacy.","path":["KRS Chapter 216B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=9239","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:23Z","sha256":"e78c163c4352e35619c40d1b8ccec8e3d0055ec089a254e3ba6b2e65907f656d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216b.190","next":"us-ky/krs-216b.198"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
