{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-216b.202","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 216B.202","heading":"Kentucky  Abortion-Inducing Drug  Certification Program  --","body":"Administrative regulations.\n(1) The cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations to create a certification\nprogram  to oversee  and  regulate the distribution and  dispensing of\nabortion-inducing drugs. The  program  shall be  known  as the Kentucky\nAbortion-Inducing Drug Certification Program. The program shall establish\ncertification requirements for manufacturers and  distributors to transport,\nsupply,  or  sell abortion-inducing drugs;  pharmacies  that dispense\nabortion-inducing drugs; and abortion facilities licensed under KRS 216B.0431.\n(2) The  certification requirements shall include recognition that abortion-inducing\ndrugs may  only be provided to patients by qualified physicians who  are\nregistered as nonsurgical abortion providers and that abortion-inducing drugs\nshall not intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly be provided directly to a patient\noutside of the parameters of Kentucky's Abortion-Inducing Drug Certification\nProgram.","path":["KRS Chapter 216B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52227","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:23Z","sha256":"85463577ccec4a3ea0e3672c826411fc269bbf4975d0340a596da209b0895886","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-216b.200","next":"us-ky/krs-216b.204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
