{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-217b.522","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 217B.522","heading":"Applicator's license required for employee of structural pest","body":"management operator -- Fee -- Waiver for person licensed under KRS\n217B.530.\n(1) Except as provided in this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person to act as an\nemployee of a  structural pest management operator and apply pesticides without\nhaving obtained an applicator's license from the department. An applicator's license\nshall be in addition to any other license or permit required by law. Any person\napplying for an applicator's license shall file an application on a form prescribed by\nthe department on or before January 1 of each year. Application for a license to\napply pesticides shall be accompanied by a license fee of twenty -five dollars ($25).\nThe provisions of this secti on shall not apply to any individual who has passed the\nexamination provided for in KRS 217B.530, and is a licensed operator.\n(2) No license shall be issued unless the applicant holds a valid certification within this\ncategory.\n(3) No license shall be issu ed unless the applicant is employed by a structural pest\nmanagement company or is supervised by a person who holds a valid operator's\nlicense.","path":["KRS Chapter 217B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51142","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:28Z","sha256":"29fa6865df9fc217a63140f60704e497994b555d542be9f516a2323ff00443b7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-217b.520","next":"us-ky/krs-217b.525"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
