{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-217b.538","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 217B.538","heading":"Structural pest management company required to register with the","body":"department -- Fee -- Proof of financial responsibility required.\n(1) No person shall act in the capacity of a structural pest management company, or\nshall engage or offer to engage in the business of, advertise as, or assume to act as a\nstructural pest management company, without having registered as such with the\ndepartment.\n(2) Application for a structural pest management company registration shall be in the\nform and shall con tain the information prescribed by the department. Each\napplication shall be accompanied by a fee of seventy -five dollars ($75). All\nregistrations issued under this section shall expire on December 31 of the year for\nwhich they are issued. The registration  for a structural pest management company\nmay be renewed annually upon application to the department, accompanied by a fee\nof seventy -five dollars ($75) for each registration, on or before the first day of\nJanuary of the calendar year for which the registration is issued.\n(3) No person shall be registered as a structural pest management company without\nproof of financial responsibility as required by KRS 217B.516.","path":["KRS Chapter 217B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51141","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:28Z","sha256":"5f7a2b9b1ff8a1baf06e0ee660f8c937336844a534539ff52d757d8a28325786","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-217b.537","next":"us-ky/krs-217b.540"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
