{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-217b.550","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 217B.550","heading":"Violations of KRS 217B.515 to 217B.585.","body":"The following acts are declared to be a violation of KRS 217B.515 to 217B.585:\n(1) Using any material or pesticide that is not labeled for the purpose of structural pest\nmanagement;\n(2) Failure of a licensed operator or applicator to comply with any of the  provisions of\nthis chapter or any reasonable rule or regulation promulgated by the department;\n(3) Failure of any person to pay a fine or comply with an order issued by the\ndepartment;\n(4) Failure to renew any required registration or pay any licensing fees;\n(5) Failure to obtain required continuing education units through training courses\napproved by the department;\n(6) Making a pesticide application not in accordance with the label registered by the\ndepartment under KRS 217.542 to 217.640;\n(7) Storing or discarding a pesticide or pesticide container in a manner prohibited under\nKRS 217B.555;\n(8) Operating equipment not functioning as intended or designed by the manufacturer;\n(9) Operating equipment in a manner not intended or designed by the manufacturer;\n(10) Failure to keep and maintain the records required by the department, or to make\nreports when and as required;\n(11) Making false records, invoices, or reports;\n(12) Making an application of a pesticide by a trainee without having a licensed person\nproviding direct supervision;\n(13) Making false representations in an application for a license or renewal of a license;\n(14) Failure to comply with any limitations or restrictions placed on a license issued by\nthe department;\n(15) Impersonating any state, county, or city inspector or official;\n(16) Failure to obtain any license or make any registration required by this chapter; and\n(17) Failure to obtain or maintain liability insurance as required by this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 217B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51131","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:28Z","sha256":"41120daf8636ea64451ffae2a59cf513f27fabde28a0a06937d5ac44e3f94f6c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-217b.545","next":"us-ky/krs-217b.555"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
