{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-217b.570","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 217B.570","heading":"Responsibility for actions of employee or agent -- Department's authority","body":"to examine, test, and inspect.\n(1) Each structural pest management company and employer of a noncommercial\napplicator shall be responsible for the actions of every person who acts as its\nemployee or agent in performing structural pest management services.\n(2) The department shall have authority at reasonable times during regular business\nhours to examine and test any and all chemicals stored for the purpose of being used\nfor prevention or control of wood destroying organisms or general pests.\n(3)  The department shall have the authority to inspect equipment and all storage and\ndisposal areas.\n(4) The department shall have the authority at reasonable times during regular busi ness\nhours to inspect and observe the manner in which a particular pesticide is applied to\nensure that it is being done according to the registered label.","path":["KRS Chapter 217B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=51135","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:29Z","sha256":"139dc3096b99e9bf5125212e069b8b2bedc969e343d7fe7542510055d27a7c68","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-217b.565","next":"us-ky/krs-217b.575"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
