{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-218a.14141","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 218A.14141","heading":"Trafficking in a misrepresented controlled substance.","body":"(1) A person is guilty of trafficking in a misrepresented controlled substance when\nhe  or she knowingly and  unlawfully sells or distributes any Schedule I\ncontrolled substance, carfentanil, or fentanyl while misrepresenting the identity\nof the Schedule I controlled substance, carfentanil, or fentanyl being sold or\ndistributed as a legitimate pharmaceutical product.\n(2) The  provisions of this section are intended to be a separate offense from\nothers in this chapter, and shall be punished in addition to violations of this\nchapter occurring during the same course of conduct.\n(3) Trafficking in a misrepresented controlled substance is a Class D felony.","path":["KRS Chapter 218A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46894","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:29Z","sha256":"aeb878a63472317c5eadf187f3ee1a4cc31d5e058db7b694734ab6bfbcd5e757","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-218a.1414","next":"us-ky/krs-218a.1415"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
