{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-218b.115","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 218B.115","heading":"Processor and processor agent -- Permissible actions.","body":"(1) A processor or processor agent acting on behalf of a processor shall not be subject\nto prosecution under state or local law, to search or inspection except by the cabinet\npursuant to KRS 218B.100, to seizure or penalty in any manner, or be denied any\nright or privilege, including but not limited to civil penalty or disciplinary action by\na court or business licensing board, for acting pursuant to this chapter and the\ncabinet's administrative regulations for:\n(a) Acquiring or purchasing raw plant material from a cultivator, processor, or\nproducer in this state;\n(b) Possessing, processing, preparing, manufacturing, manipulating, blending,\npreparing, or packaging medicinal cannabis;\n(c) Transferring, transporting, supplying, or selling medicinal cannabis and\nrelated supplies to other cannabis businesses in this state; or\n(d) Selling cannabis seeds or seedlings to similar entities that are licensed to\ncultivate cannabis in this state or in any other jurisdiction.\n(2) A processor licensed under this section shall not possess, process, produce, or\nmanufacture:\n(a) Raw plant material with a delta -9 tetrahydrocannabinol content of more than\nthirty-five percent (35%);\n(b) Medicinal cannabis products intended for oral consumption as an edible, oil,\nor tincture with more than ten (10) milligrams of delta -9 tetrahydrocannabinol\nper serving;\n(c) Any medicinal cannabis product not described in paragraph (a) or (b) of this\nsubsection with a delta -9 tetrahydrocannabinol content of more than seventy\npercent (70%); or\n(d) Any medicinal cannabis product that contains vitamin E acetate.","path":["KRS Chapter 218B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54293","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:31Z","sha256":"b54b61e721b84dac2b79692c95fd0b835f35812584b76f09686134b99da98179","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-218b.110","next":"us-ky/krs-218b.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
