{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-219.041","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 219.041","heading":"Regulations -- State hotel code.","body":"(1) The secretary shall adopt regulations for the effective administration and\nenforcement of KRS 219.011 to 219.081.\n(2) The secretary shall adopt a state hotel code which shall include, among other things,\nrequirements for the issuance, suspension, and revoc ation of permits to operate;\nsubmission of plans for construction and equipment layout; plumbing; lighting;\nventilation; water supply; sewage disposal; sanitary standards for operation; and\nsuch other matters deemed necessary to insure a safe and sanitary operation of a\nhotel. Standards for construction, plumbing, lighting, and ventilation shall be\neffective only if they are approved by the Department of Housing, Buildings and\nConstruction and are included in the Uniform State Building Code, or if they\nconform to the State Plumbing Code in the case of plumbing fixtures.
