{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-219.085","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 219.085","heading":"Human trafficking hotline telephone number to be prominently displayed","body":"in specified locations in each hotel -- Penalties.\n(1) As used in this section, \"hotel\" means every establishment kept, used, maintained,\nadvertised, or held out to the pu blic to be a place where sleeping accommodations\nare offered to guests, and includes motels.\n(2) Every hotel shall post:\n(a) In its lobby, stairwells, elevators, or on or beside exit doors, a printed sign in\nEnglish and Spanish at least eight and one -half (8-1/2) by eleven (11) inches\nin size, with letters in at least sixteen (16) point font; and\n(b) In all of its publicly accessible restrooms, either:\n1. A printed sign in English and Spanish at least eight and one -half (8-1/2)\nby eleven (11) inches in size , with letters in at least sixteen (16) point\nfont; or\n2. A printed transparent static window cling in English and Spanish at least\nthree (3) inches by three (3) inches in size, with letters in at least ten\n(10) point font;\ndisplaying the current telephone hotline number of the National Human Trafficking\nResource Center or any federally funded successor entity.\n(3) The sign or window cling shall be:\n(a) Created using gender-neutral language supplied by the Office of the Attorney\nGeneral, the National Human Trafficking Hotline, or the United States\nDepartment of Homeland Security's Blue Campaign; and\n(b) Posted in a prominent place easily seen by patrons.\n(4) A hotel in violation of this section shall be subject to a warning on the first violation\nand a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50) for each subsequent violation. Each day\nof noncompliance with this section shall constitute a separate violation.
