{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-219.340","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 219.340","heading":"Issuance, duration, posting of permits to operate manufactured or mobile","body":"home community -- Fees -- Permits not transferable.\n(1) The cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations to establish a schedule of\nfees not to exceed administrativ e costs of the program to the cabinet, that shall be\npaid for a permit to operate a manufactured or mobile home community. Upon\nreceipt of an application for a permit to operate, accompanied by a permit fee, the\ncabinet shall issue a permit, provided the c ommunity meets the standards and\nrequirements of KRS 219.310 to 219.410 and the administrative regulations\npromulgated by the cabinet.\n(2) Each permit to operate, unless sooner suspended or revoked, shall expire on June 30\nfollowing its issuance, and be renewable annually, upon application and payment of\na renewal fee established by the cabinet, provided the community is maintained and\noperated in compliance with KRS 219.310 to 219.410 and the administrative\nregulations promulgated by the cabinet.\n(3) Each permit to operate shall be issued only for the person and premises, including\nnumber of spaces, named in the application and shall not be transferable.\n(4) The person holding an operating permit shall post it conspicuously within the\ncommunity or have it r eadily available for examination upon request by agents of\nthe cabinet or prospective community occupants.","path":["KRS Chapter 219"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48451","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:32Z","sha256":"cd19abaa397d324e52be30e02b997e4033bc69eafebef92f85330bca3d62d4de","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-219.330","next":"us-ky/krs-219.350"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
