{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-219.410","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 219.410","heading":"Units for personal or farm use excluded -- Exclusions for parks,","body":"festivals, and publicly announced  events lasting less than 30 days --\nStandards for installation.\n(1) Nothing  in KRS  219.310  to 219.410  shall be  construed to include\nmanufactured homes, mobile homes, or recreational vehicles maintained by\nany persons on their own premises and used exclusively to house their own\nfarm labor.\n(2) (a) Nothing in KRS  219.310 to 219.410 shall be construed to apply to\nmanufactured home  parks, mobile home  parks, or recreational vehicle\nparks owned and operated on a temporary or seasonal basis by a city,\ncounty, charter county, urban-county government, or consolidated local\ngovernment or its agencies.\n(b) Nothing in KRS  219.310 to 219.410 shall be construed to apply to\nfestivals lasting not more than thirty (30) days that are organized and\noperated by a city, county, charter county, urban-county government, or\nconsolidated local government or its agencies.\n(c) Nothing in KRS  219.310 to 219.410 shall be construed to apply to the\ntemporary parking of recreational vehicles on public or private property,\nfor not more than thirty (30) days, associated with festivals, fairs, sporting\nevents, yard sales, or other publicly announced events.\n(3) All installations of manufactured homes and mobile homes shall be performed\nby an installer certified under KRS  227.550 to 227.660 in accordance with the\nmanufacturer's instructions, if available, or the current ANSI or other generally\naccepted industry standard as adopted by the department by promulgation of\nan administrative regulation.","path":["KRS Chapter 219"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46956","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:32Z","sha256":"14bc66b9080321c75525ecca044ae5384bb345a9cd1f5a9b21bfc2fa6260de6b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-219.400","next":"us-ky/krs-219.990"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
