{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-220.583","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 220.583","heading":"Financing may be arranged as in cities -- Construction of terms from KRS","body":"Chapter 107.\n(1) In the financing of a construction subdistrict the district may use the authority and\nprocedure granted to incorporated municipalities by KRS 107.010 to 107.220.\nWhen applied to construction subdistricts, terms used in KRS 107.010 to 107.220\nshall be construed to mean the following: \"city\" means \"sanitation district\";\n\"ordinance\" means \"resolution\"; \"clerk\" means \"secretary -treasurer of district\";\n\"governing body\"  means \"sanitation district board\"; and \"mayor or chairman of\nboard of directors\" means \"chairman of sanitation district board.\" Bonds issued\npursuant to this section are construction subdistrict bonds and obligations secured\nby assessments.\n(2) The provis ions of subsection (1), permitting financing subdistrict construction\nunder the provisions of KRS 107.010 to 107.220, shall not repeal or reduce any\nexisting rights or duties of the district, but shall constitute an additional method of\nfinancing.","path":["KRS Chapter 220"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=9850","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:33Z","sha256":"d908f855d9be7ae03070dd595caa6408e3b6755a63960845a13b7fba181242e2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-220.581","next":"us-ky/krs-220.585"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
