{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-221.040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 221.040","heading":"Revocation or suspension of licenses -- Notice and hearing -- Court review.","body":"(1) The secretary may revoke or suspend a frozen food locker plant license if he finds\non investigation that the licensee has violated any provisions of the law relating to\nfrozen food locker plants or any law relating to the handling of human food, or ha s\nfailed to comply with any administrative regulation promulgated pursuant to\napplicable laws; or that the premises or any equipment used in connection therewith\nis in an unsanitary condition.\n(2) No license shall be revoked or suspended by the secretary w ithout delivery to the\nlicensee of a written statement of the charge involved and an opportunity to answer\nthe charge in a hearing conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(3) Any final order made by the secretary suspending or revoking any license ma y be\nreviewed by the Circuit Court of the county in which the licensed premises are\nlocated in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.","path":["KRS Chapter 221"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=9875","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:33Z","sha256":"277250c086b8c6a31281af3b1edde3458db9e7d17993f42af372cb8df4a61ef8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-221.030","next":"us-ky/krs-221.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
