{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-221.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 221.100","heading":"Lien of operator for charges -- Foreclosure -- Disposition of proceeds of","body":"sale.\nThe owner of any frozen food locker plant shall have a lien on the contents of each\nlocker, compartment or space for the payment of the locker rental thereon and any\nprocessing or other charges. Such lien may be foreclosed by giving a written notice by\ncertified mail, return receipt requested to the renter of such locker, compartment or space,\nand, after ten (10) days from date of the notice, the owner may proceed to sell t he\ncontents of the locker, at either public or private sale, for the reasonable value of its\ncontents. If the proceeds from the sale exceed the amount of the lien, the balance shall be\nduly paid to the renter.
