{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-222.003","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 222.003","heading":"Scope and application of chapter.","body":"(1) The programs or activities of the voluntary self -help organizations known as\nAlcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and similar organizations\nin the area of substance use disorder rehabilitation shall not be restricted or\nregulated by the provisions of this chapter.\n(2) The programs or activities of voluntary community groups and agencies, such as\nStudents Against Drunk Driving, National Federation of Parents, Parent Resource\nInstitute for Drug Education, and similar organizations in the area o f substance use\ndisorder prevention, shall not be restricted or regulated by the provisions of this\nchapter.\n(3) Nothing contained in this chapter shall affect any laws, administrative regulations,\nordinances, resolutions, or local regulations against driv ing under the influence of\nalcohol or other drugs, or other similar offenses that involve the operation of motor\nvehicles, machinery, or other hazardous equipment.","path":["KRS Chapter 222"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48987","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:33Z","sha256":"6faf1ffa22daa9d253c95f3f7e837c18cdb5636bb383f6607dc7b116013f35f6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-222.001","next":"us-ky/krs-222.005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
