{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-222.465","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 222.465","heading":"Client-outcome study -- Follow-up reports.","body":"(1) All inpatient, residential, or outpatient treatment centers or programs licensed as a\nchemical dependency treatment service pursuant to KRS 216B.042 or this chapter\nand receiving state or federal funds, shall participate in a client -outcome study\nconducted by the cabinet. This scientifically conducted client -oriented evaluation\nstudy shall measure the relative change in a client as a result of the client's\nparticipation in specific treatment modalities. The client -outcome study shall\nmeasure the client's length of stay in each treatment modality and the client's change\nin behavior one (1) year after being discharged from a treatment program.\n(2) Follow-up reports on a scientifically -based sample of clients discharged from\nchemical dependency treatment progra ms shall be gathered by an independent\norganization qualified to conduct outcome evaluation and submitted to the cabinet\nin a format to be determined by administrative regulations of the cabinet. The\nfollow-up report shall measure the client's current subs tance use patterns,\nemployment status, educational status, and involvement in the criminal justice\nsystem. Follow-up reports may be conducted through telephone or mail surveys of\nclients and the cost of reports shall be borne by the cabinet.\n(3) Clients who refuse to participate in the follow -up report or who cannot reasonably\nbe located shall be noted in the follow-up report.","path":["KRS Chapter 222"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49003","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:34Z","sha256":"3250ab59622b719ea70c0db0869d783bc3582b6f051275c73c24226777c74934","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-222.462","next":"us-ky/krs-222.470"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
