{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-224.46-310","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 224.46-310","heading":"\"Pollution prevention\" defined.","body":"As used in KRS 224.46 -315 to 224.46 -325, \"pollution prevention,\" shall mean in -plant\npractices, including, but not limited to, process modifications, feedstock substitutions,\nproduct reformulation management practices or housekeeping alterations, recycling\nwithin industrial processes, or equipment replacement or modifications, that reduce,\navoid, or eliminate the generation of hazardous waste or the release of toxic chemicals at\ntheir source, rather than controlling, treating, or managing hazardous waste or  toxic\nchemicals after their generation or release, to reduce the risks to employees, public health,\nand the environment.
