{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-224.73-130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 224.73-130","heading":"Definitions for KRS 224.73-130 to 224.73-150.","body":"As used in KRS 224.73-130 to 224.73-150:\n(1) \"Privately owned small wastewater treatment plant\" or \"plant\" means all or any part\nof a sewage treatment facility, including the collection system that:\n(a) Is designed to intercept, transport, and treat sewage  before discharging it into\nthe environment;\n(b) Is not operated by a local government, special district, or governmental entity,\nincluding but not limited to a city, county, charter county, urban -county\ngovernment, consolidated local government, unified l ocal government, or\nboard or commission operating under KRS Chapter 65, 67, 74, 76, or 220;\n(c) Is not an industrial wastewater treatment plant;\n(d) Is not a system designed to serve an individual household;\n(e) Is not an agricultural operation; and\n(f) Serves a localized customer base such as neighborhoods, developments,\napartment or condominium complexes, businesses, or manufactured housing\nor mobile home parks; and\n(2) \"Sewage\" means the water -carried human or animal wastes from residences,\nbuildings, or other places, together with industrial wastes or underground, surface,\nstorm or other water as may be present.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48308","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:42Z","sha256":"4e6d1d90a82ab1c2ba74638f1be50f49af0dbff288d5895e4bab252081fb7aae","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-224.73-120","next":"us-ky/krs-224.73-140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
