{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-224a.318","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 224A.318","heading":"Water management assistance fund.","body":"(1) The water management assistance fund shall be established in the State Treasury\nand shall be administered by the authority.\n(2) The fund shall be a dedicated fund, and all moneys in the fund shall be allocated for\nand dedicated to providing financial assi stance for both capital and non -capital\nexpenses for governmental agencies that:\n(a) Provide public drinking water or wastewater services to ratepayers in the\nCommonwealth; and\n(b) Are considered financially at risk.\n(3) The fund may receive donations and gifts, state and federal appropriations, federal\ngrants or loans, and revenues or proceeds from the sale of bonds or from other\nfinancial instruments. The fund may receive proceeds from the authority's revolving\nfund, as available, and if not contrary to t he requirements which establish and\ngovern the management and use of those funds.\n(4) Moneys in the fund shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next fiscal\nyear and used solely for the stated purposes in this section and KRS 224A.316.","path":["KRS Chapter 224A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53006","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:43Z","sha256":"fe863124ab56b8df69ca41fc7c824b1936742819eff4bae3977d7ac72cd7ca1a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-224a.316","next":"us-ky/krs-224a.320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
