{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-226.990","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 226.990","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Any pawnbroker who violates any of the provisions of KRS 226.020 to 226.050\nshall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than five hundred dollars\n($500), and his license may be forfeited to the use of the city or county in which the\nprosecution takes place.\n(2) Any pawnbroker or pawnbroker's clerk who violates any of the provisions of KRS\n226.060 shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than five hundred\ndollars ($500).\n(3) Any pawnbroker who violates any of the provisions of KRS 226.070 shall be fined\nnot less than twenty dollars ($20) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100).\n(4) Any pawnbroker who violates any of the provisions of KRS 226.080 or 226.090\nshall be subject to the penalties provided in subsection (1) of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 226"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=10609","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:43Z","sha256":"a80aa15103f338fec4bd09758414228185e7b90a87607c812b614e7b0b1f68c5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-226.100","next":"us-ky/krs-227.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
